There are
now eight UX8 cards on this site with five in the Philippine Postal Cards
and Wrappers collection and three in this section). A mint card was offered
by Bennett Stamps last November 2003, and was described as "RARE CARD
BEING ONE OF ONLY TEN REPORTED KNOWN AND THE FIRST WE HAVE EVER SEEN" and
sold for US$ 4,600.00. I hope you will agree with me that the word "RARE"
is no longer applicable to this item. Scarce to very scarce perhaps but
certainly not rare.I know of another two mint and two used cards held by
Philippine based collectors. Perhaps the report that only ten cards existing
was made a long time ago.
